Manifolds are manufactured using a stamped body, a feature that gives them extreme strength as well as reduced roughness, achieved by machining, on all internal surfaces.
Looking at a cutaway of the manifold, it can be seen that the fitting sections are designed to achieve the widest possible passage. Reliability in closing the shutter is also ensured by the presence of an EPDM gasket for the front seal.
The shutoff valve is made in two pieces, and thus the manifold clearance is independent of the position of the shutter; this feature prevents that in the ordinary operating condition (i.e., with the shutoff valves fully or partially open) the maneuvering handwheels obstruct the proper closing of the containment box door.
The maneuvering handwheels, which are connected to the shut-off faucet with a screw, are equipped with two nameplates: one nameplate indicates the corresponding utility; the other nameplate overlaps the previous one and is colored blue on one side and red on the other, to immediately display whether hot water or domestic cold water is circulating in that manifold. This also makes it possible to optimize the quantity of products in stock.
