CPR cable FS18OR18 3 G 1,5 mmq 450/750V (replaces the old Fror) Cable for energy, signalling and control, PVC insulated of quality S18 under PVC sheath of quality R18, with particular characteristics of reaction to fire and responding to the Regulation Products for Construction CPR (EU) n°305/11.

FS18OR18 cables belong to the AFIAM range and are marked Cca-s3,d1,a3, to indicate that they comply with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) in accordance with the requirements set out in EN 50575:2014+A1:2016 and to indicate that they are fire retardant in accordance with the self-extinguishing requirements set out in standard CEI EN 50399 in which tests are also measured for heat emission, smoke production and possible dripping during the flame development test.
FS18OR18 cables are also flame retardant on the single vertical cable as per EN and IEC 60332-1-2 (CEI 20-35) tests. In order to prevent further risks deriving from the substances emitted during the combustion of plastic materials, FS18OR18 cables are manufactured with special compounds with reduced emission of halogens, with a quantity of hydrochloric acid, contained in the fumes emitted in case of combustion, lower than 18%. FS18OR18 cables belong to the ecological line called ECOGAMMA marked by the symbol of the Windmill. In these ecological cables, lead has been eliminated, a heavy metal, dangerous for the environment and for man if present in excessive quantities.
