Universal dimmer with which to turn on, turn off and adjust:

    • Halogen and incandescent lamps, dimmable led lamps, lamellar and toroidal transformers
    • Electronic transformers (also with low-voltage led lamps), dimmable low-power CFL lamps
    • Silent step relays (also for non-dimmable CFL low-consumption lamps)

The TE7636 Universal Power Dimmer is an electronic dimmer suitable for dimming most types of lamps on the market. By means of two dip switches, in fact, it is possible to set the mode of operation of the dimmer according to the type of load it is controlling.

With the first dip switch, it is possible to set the TE7636 as a dimmer operating in Leading Edge (tripping at the beginning of the phase) for dimming halogen or incandescent lamps, dimmable LED lamps, toroidal and lamellar transformers; or in Trailing Edge (tripping at the end of the phase) for dimming electronic transformers (for dichroic bulbs and dimmable low-voltage LEDs), low-consumption lamps (CFLs) declared dimmable.

In the case of dimmable low-consumption lamps (CFLs), it is advisable to select lamp preheating using dip switch 2: in this way, the CFL lamp is always turned on for a maximum of a couple of seconds. If in addition to setting dip switch 2 to CFL mode you set the minimum trimmer to its maximum value the TE7636 functions as a silent stepper relay to turn on and off even non-dimmable CFL lamps and generally any type of lamp. In the dimmer function it is possible at any time to enable or disable the memory.
