PoE Switch DS-3E1309P-EI: compact, powerful and perfect for video surveillance
The DS-3E1309P-EI is the ideal switch for IP systems where few ports are needed but with professional functions. The 8 PoE ports allow direct connection and powering of IP cameras, video intercoms or access points, reducing power supplies and simplifying installation. The presence of a Gigabit uplink port is a concrete advantage: even if the PoE ports are 10/100, the uplink avoids bottlenecks to NVR or router when multiple video streams arrive together.
PoE+ up to 30W and 110W budget: well-sized power supply
The switch supports IEEE 802.3af/at (PoE/PoE+) with a maximum of 30 W per port. The most important data for sizing is the total PoE budget of 110 W: it means that the total power deliverable on the ports is shared among the connected devices. It is perfect for 48 cameras (depending on the consumption of each), even with models equipped with IR or advanced functions.
The PoE pins on 8-pin power are also indicated: 1/2(-), 3/6(+), 4/5(+), 7/8(-), useful in diagnostics and special cabling.
Transmission up to 300 meters: ideal for perimeters and outdoor areas
The PoE long range function up to 300 m solves one of the most common problems in video surveillance systems: cameras far from the technical room. It is very useful for gates, parking lots, warehouses, courtyards and perimeters where the distance exceeds the standard limits of traditional Ethernet.
