The Tenda TEG1110PF-8-120W offers three modes of operation:

Standard: default mode in which all ports can communicate with each other

VLAN: separates ports 1-8, but all can communicate with port 9 and SFP1. Ideal for reducing transmission storms and isolating DHCP transmission

Extension: reduces negotiation speed to 10 Mbps, but extends signal range up to 250 m for a longer network
