PXC2-212 is a programmable control panel equipped with 8 wired connection points expandable to 212, wire or radio (max 128). Each connection point is configurable as an input or output. To expand the basic system it is possible to use the remote wired 4 input/output modules PX4IOR to be connected on the RS485 bus line. The same bus allows connection with PXWRX01 radio receivers for connection to wireless devices and up to 16 wired keypads, 16 PXITU01 transponder inserters and 8 additional power supplies.

Inputs or outputs can be associated with 16 individually programmable areas (area can be programmed to manage outputs, access codes, keypads/inserters, and phone numbers matched to the area). Each input can be configured in triple balance to discriminate an Antimask signaling from an alarm signaling or possibly for input doubling. The control unit also provides 3 programmable relay outputs on board. All outputs are configurable, so they can be combined with control panel events or activated remotely.

The natively integrated LAN connection allows the control unit to be connected directly to CAME Connect without the need for additional modules and to interface with the CAME DOMOTIC 3.0 home automation system in order to achieve centralized control and complete integration between the two systems. A weekly/daily time scheduler allows the various functions of the control unit to be managed automatically at predetermined times. In addition, through the PXONV add-on module, the control panel can integrate CCTV cameras that support the ONVIF Profile S protocol for effective video verification. If a WIFI connection is required, the control center is equipped with a USB port for connecting a WIFI dongle.

The optional PSTN module PXTEL01 allows transmission of alarms in digital format to security institutions and already integrates on board the card for transmission of alarms in voice form. Messages can be set with the special TTS (Text To Speech) function that turns previously written text into a voice message. It also incorporates voice guidance for remote control that allows, by calling the control panel, various control operations (central activation and deactivation, power and fuse status query, event memory query, output query and activation) assisted by voice messages.

PXC2-212 supports the new optional PXMC3G module for alarm transmission over the GSM/UMTS network for remote management of the control panel via smartphone/tablet using the 3G network. Using this module, it is possible to transmit alarms in SMS format and perform the remote control operations described above again via SMS messages or allow management/control of the control panel by voice guidance. PXMC3G also enables the following functions:

  • Direct internet connection to the Cloud for remote control (or Fallback of LAN/WIFI connection).
  • System management via CAME DOMOTIC App that now supports PUSH notifications divided into macro families (Alarms, Faults, Codes/Keys, arming/disarming/autotest events, Video Recordings)
  • Connection to surveillance institutions via Contact ID and SIA-IP protocol.

PXC2-212 is an excellent solution for installations where a high possibility of expanding the system and setting access logics to the various sectors of the installation is required.
