Professional solution for MV cable termination
The 3M QT-II 94-EB 63-1 is a self-shrinking terminal designed for safe and reliable termination of single-core Medium Voltage (MV) cables up to 36 kV. The kit includes all the components needed to complete three phase terminations indoors, offering an ideal solution for transformer substations, industrial plants and electrical distribution networks.
Cold Shrink technology: zero flames, maximum safety
3M's patented Cold Shrink technology enables installation without the use of flame or heating tools, increasing work safety, especially in hazardous environments. Silicone rubber insulators are supplied pre-stretched on a coiled backing, which is simply removed during installation to allow the terminal to fit snugly over the cable.
One-piece insulator with electric field control
The terminal is made with a one-piece, non-tracking insulator integrated with an electric field control system, which eliminates the need for additional accessories to manage voltages at the edges of the terminal. This compact, engineered design ensures high electrical and mechanical strength, reducing the risk of partial discharge and extending the life of the system.
Maximum adaptability and regulatory compliance
