The 3M QT-II 93-EB 63-1 terminal is a professional component designed to terminate single-pole Medium Voltage (MV) cables up to 24 kV indoors. Cold-shrink technology: simplified installation
Thanks to 3M's exclusive Cold Shrink technology, the terminal comes pre-stretched on a spiral support and can be installed without heat or flame, increasing safety and reducing work time. This system is ideal for sensitive environments where the use of open flame is prohibited or discouraged. Simply slip off the coil and the self-shrinking silicone rubber body automatically adapts to the cable, ensuring a reliable and durable seal.
Advanced insulator and integrated field control
The insulator body is made of high-performance silicone rubber, providing mechanical strength, thermal stability and durability. The one-piece structure includes an integrated electric field control system, eliminating the need to install additional components for electrical stress management. This solution ensures an even distribution of the electric field along the termination, preventing partial discharges and prolonging the life of the cable.
