Fracarro GES05 (287865) is an unmanaged Ethernet switch with 5 Gigabit 10/100/1000 Mbps ports: compact and plug & play, with auto MDI/MDIX and Green Mode to reduce consumption, ideal for home LANs and small offices.
5 Gigabit 10/100/1000 Mbps ports for immediate network expansion
Unmanaged switch: no configuration, plug and play
Auto MDI/MDIX: automatically recognizes cable/connection type
Speed up to 1 Gbit/s per port and 2 Gbit/s full duplex
Green Mode: up to 85% energy saving
Ideal for home, office, studio, surveillance and smart home LAN networks.
The Fracarro GES05 Ethernet switch is the simplest solution to increase the number of available network sockets without changing the router or system. If you have a router with few LAN ports or want to connect more wired devices (PC, Smart TV, console, NAS, decoder, NVR/IP cameras, access point), the GES05 allows you to create a stable and fast network in just a few minutes. Being unmanaged, it requires no settings: it is perfect for those who want immediate reliability without having to configure VLANs or advanced functions.
The 5 Gigabit ports ensure high bandwidth compared to old 10/100 switches, significantly improving the experience on modern applications: 4K streaming, file transfers on NAS, backups, video conferencing and remote work. The ability to handle up to 1 Gbit/s per port and 2 Gbit/s in full duplex means that each device can transmit and receive simultaneously with smoother performance, reducing bottlenecks in the local network.
The automatic MDI/MDIX function eliminates doubts about the type of cable or the need for crossover cables: the switch automatically recognizes connections and adapts the port. This makes installation truly plug & play, useful both at home and in small offices where devices are added progressively.
The Green Mode is designed to reduce consumption when the switch is not used to its maximum, achieving up to 85% energy savings depending on usage and connection conditions. It is a concrete advantage for devices that remain on for many hours a day, such as those in the office, in home racks or near modem/routers.
The compact format makes it easy to place on a desk, near the router or in a technical cabinet. It is particularly suitable for mixed systems (TV + data) and configurations where stability is needed: wired connections for smart home, streaming without buffering and surveillance networks where Ethernet cabling offers greater reliability than Wi-Fi.
