The Lovato DMG2000 network analyser multimeter is a multifunction digital instrument designed for measuring and supervising the main electrical parameters in industrial, tertiary, and building automation installations. Thanks to its modular format on a 35 mm DIN rail, it easily integrates into electrical panels, simplifying the adoption of an energy monitoring system without overhauling the existing wiring. The colour display enhances the user experience: it allows for clear visualization of voltages, currents, powers, and energies, facilitating quick checks during testing, maintenance, and diagnostics.
When the goal is to account for or analyse consumption, accuracy matters. DMG2000 offers an active energy measurement accuracy of Class 0.5s according to IEC/EN 62053-22, a specification suitable for many monitoring and internal consumption allocation applications. For reactive energy, the classification is Class 2 according to IEC/EN 62053-23, useful for evaluating power factor correction and inefficiencies related to inductive loads, optimizing costs and performance of the installation.
With the increase of inverters, UPS, switching power supplies, and LED lighting, the presence of harmonics is increasingly common. The DMG2000 integrates harmonic analysis up to the 63rd order, a fundamental tool for identifying distortions and criticalities that can cause overheating, untimely tripping, or reduced component lifespan. Having this data directly at the panel, with a colour display, helps to intervene more precisely on filters, power factor correction, and load balancing.
