Fantini Cosmi LPG Gas Detector Sicurgas P12 220V
The Fantini Cosmi Sicurgas P12 LPG Gas Detector is a highly sensitive device designed to detect dangerous concentrations of LPG gas in environments, preventing explosion and poisoning risks. With its advanced probe and effective alarm, Sicurgas ensures a safe environment for users by automatically activating safety measures in case of danger:
-
High Sensitivity: The highly sensitive probe detects dangerous concentrations of LPG gas even far below the lower explosive limit (L.I.E.)
-
Luminous and audible alarm: In case of gas detection, the device activates a red luminous alarm light and an audible signal to immediately warn occupants of the danger
-
Gas shut-off relay: The device can operate a relay to control a gas shut-off valve, thus shutting off the flow of gas in case of alarm
-
Shockproof housing: Made of insulating and shockproof material to ensure durability and reliability over time
-
Interchangeable sensor: The semiconductor sensor has a 5-year life span and can be replaced when needed
-
Relay mode selector: The device offers an internal selector to choose between stable or pulse mode for relay operation
-
Regulatory compliance: Complies with EN 50194 and EN 60730-1 safety standards.

Product Description:
The Fantini Cosmi Sicurgas P12 is designed to ensure safety in environments where LPG gas is used, such as kitchens, heaters, or gas systems. The device promptly detects even the lowest concentrations of LPG gas, turning on a red warning light and activating an audible alarm. In case of persistent danger, the device automatically actuates a relay to close the gas shutoff valve, preventing the risk of explosion or poisoning.
With its interchangeable sensor, the Sicurgas P12 has a sensor life of 5 years. It is perfect for residential and commercial applications, offering high safety due to its ability to detect even minute traces of gas, well below safety limits. In addition, the device has an internal selector switch to choose relay operation, which can be in stable or pulse mode depending on the needs of the system.
Applications:
The Sicurgas P12 LPG Gas Detector is ideal for installation in residential, commercial or industrial environments where LPG gas use is frequent. Some application examples include:
- Domestic and professional kitchens
- Gas heating systems
- Industrial environments and laboratories with LPG gas
The device is designed to be easily mounted on a 3-module wall box or other compatible structure. Its installation is simple and ensures long service life and reliability.
Operation
SICURAS is a device that by means of a very sensitive probe reveals the presence of dangerous concentrations of METHANE and P. Sicurgas is complete with two internal alarms: one luminous and one acoustic. Sicurgas intervenes when the gas concentration is far below the lower explosive limit (.I.E.), immediately turning on the red light. If the alarm persists, an audible warning of danger also intervenes; at the same time, Sicurgas triggers a relay to control a gas shut-off valve.
Sicurgas' sensor, like all sensors currently on the market, while very selective, can also intervene for other substances such as, for example, alcohol vapors. During the use of wine in a food preparation, it is possible for the detector to go into alarm: to remedy this inconvenience, Sicurgas is equipped with an alarm silencing switch that can be operated with: button under the body for Sicurgas P12 for P (mounted at the bottom 30 cm from the floor). N.B. the silencing button must be pressed for at least 1 second. After the silencing button is operated, there is a no-alarm situation for 10 minutes: the buzzer does not beep, the relay returns to the no-alarm position, and the red and yellow LEDs, flash alternately to indicate the silencing period; acting on the switch again during the 10-minute silencing period, the detector immediately resumes normal operation. After the 10-minute period has elapsed, the detector automatically resumes normal operation. it is therefore possible, knowing that you will have to use substances that may cause a false alarm, to silence the detector in advance to avoid signaling and stove gas shutdown (due to the tripping of the gas shut-off valve).
