The Cordivari buffer of 500 litres (code 3001162311004) is an inertial accumulator designed for hot-cold systems powered by heat pumps. It functions as a thermal flywheel for technical water, stabilizing the system and improving the overall performance of the plant. Thanks to its capacity and massive carbon steel structure, it ensures a constant reserve of thermal energy, essential for the correct management of the loading and unloading phases of the system.
Reduction of compressor cycles
One of the main advantages of inertial buffers is the ability to limit the restarts of the heat pump compressor, improving efficiency, increasing the unit's lifespan, and ensuring more stable operation. The accumulation of technical water allows the machine to work with greater continuity, avoiding frequent stop-and-go and ensuring optimal thermal generation in both heating and cooling modes.
Carbon steel structure
The tank is made of carbon steel, a material that guarantees high mechanical resistance and long-lasting durability. The robustness of the structure makes it suitable for domestic, commercial, and industrial plants that require great reliability. Being a raw accumulator for technical water, it is not suitable for drinking water but perfectly suitable for closed hot-cold circuits.
High-performance insulation

The grey PVC outer casing protects the insulation and the tank from impacts and external agents, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

The buffer is equipped with a 1"½ Gas F connection designed for electrical integration, useful when you want to install an auxiliary heating system (such as an electric resistance). There is also a ½" Gas F connection dedicated to instrumentation, essential for installing probes, thermometers, meters, or sensors that monitor the temperature and operation of the system.
