The Panduit U/UTP LSZH CAT6A cable (code PUY6XHD04WH-EG) is a high-performance data cable designed to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet network applications up to 100 metres, exceeding the requirements of ANSI/TIA-568.2-E Category 6A, ISO/IEC 11801 Class Ea, and IEC 61156-5 standards. Sold in a 305-metre reel, it represents an ideal solution for professional LAN installations, data centres, and high-density networks.
The construction with solid copper conductors 23 AWG, insulated with expanded PE and HDPE, ensures stable transmissions, very low attenuation, and signal integrity even in challenging installations. The pairs are twisted, separated by a divider tape, and wrapped with an AXT barrier tape that drastically reduces alien crosstalk, ensuring superior performance and a clean signal even in large cable bundles.
High-density design with reduced diameter
With a nominal diameter of only 6.5 mm, the cable maximizes conduit capacity and facilitates wiring in confined spaces. This allows for an upgrade from CAT6 to CAT6A without replacing existing conduits, making installation more economical and less invasive. The optimized design also reduces the minimum bend radius, simplifying passage in high-density network racks and cabinets.
The cable has been tested on 48-port panels in 1 RU, ensuring maximum compatibility with high-concentration patch point configurations typical of modern data centres.
