Dual technology outdoor motion detection sensor (PIR+MW), with curtain coverage. It is suitable for the protection of doors, windows and shop windows or more generally in any outdoor installation, where it is necessary to cover well-defined areas. It is in fact able to create a curtain coverage with an angle of 7.5 ° and with an adjustable range up to 12 meters. It is equipped with a station with accelerometer for anti-tear and a microswitch against the opening of the front and infrared leds for anti-masking analysis.

Operation of the anti-masking analysis: The anti-masking analysis can be enabled and disabled using the DIP-SWITCH 2. When the DIP-SWITCH is ON, if a masking is detected, the relay at the terminal F (masking/fault) is closed.

The masking analysis considers both quantities:

• Microwave
• Infrared
• Note: In the particular case of infrared, the analysis is performed by active infrared LEDs.
  
  

Function of the anti-tear analysis: When the sensor is switched on, the accelerometer is calibrated for the acquired position. Immediately after a displacement detection, the inertial sensor tares again to the current position.
