Ajax GlassProtect Jeweller Wireless Glass Break Detector
GlassProtect Jeweller uses a sensitive electret microphone and DualTone digital algorithm to detect the sound of glass breaking. To record glass breakage and signal an alarm, the device must detect a dull (low-frequency) impact sound and a ringing (high-frequency) glass breakage sound in 1.5 seconds. This two-step glass break detection algorithm reduces the risk of false alarms. The Ajax app allows three levels of sensitivity to be configured, making the detector suitable for any facility.
The device will not detect glass breakage if the glass is covered with impact, solar, decorative or other films. The device is designed for indoor use.
Easy compatibility with third-party detectors
GlassProtect Jeweller has terminals for connecting a wired third-party NC detector. This makes it possible to improve system reliability with any NC detector, whether newly installed or existing, such as motion, opening, or vibration detectors. Intelligent Detection with DualTone Algorithm.
The GlassProtect Jeweller uses a two-factor detection algorithm, which simultaneously analyzes the low frequencies of impact sound and the high frequencies of glass breakage. This process, which occurs in less than 1.5 seconds, ensureshigh reliability and eliminates false alarms caused by similar noises.
High-Sensitivity Electret Microphone
Equipped with an advanced electret microphone, the device is designed to respond only to the acoustic vibrations characteristic of glass breakage. It does not detect other sounds, providing selective and effective protection.
Wide Coverage and Adjustable Sensitivity
The GlassProtect Jeweller offers awide detection coverage of up to 9 meters with a 180-degree angle. Through theAjax app, three levels of sensitivity can be adjusted, adapting the detector to the specific characteristics of the environment.
