The Ajax Hub 2 Jeweller 2G Control unit is an advanced wireless central unit with photo-verification support, black in color, designed to provide maximum security and immediate reaction to events. With dual 2G SIM cards, Ethernet connection, and compatibility with up to 100 Ajax devices, this central unit is perfect for residential and professional installations.
When an intrusion is detected, the Hub 2 transmits images from the MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor sensors in less than 9 seconds, allowing users or security institutions to assess the situation without the need for a continuous active video surveillance system.

Ajax Hub 2 Jeweller Control unit with photo-verification
Hub 2 works with MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor motion detectors. When triggered, they take a series of photos and allow a situation on the facility to be assessed. Visual verification saves users from worries and security institutions from unnecessary patrol mobilization.
To ensure reliable communications, we equipped Hub 2 with four antennas and support for two proprietary radio protocols-Jeweler and Wings. Jeweler handles the transmission of commands, events and alarms, while Wings provides batch transmission of images. Ajax two-way radio communication uses framing to synchronize device communication, authentication to eliminate forgery, and encryption to protect against data leakage.

Connection via cable and cellular networks
Communication with the outside world is critical for the security system control panel. Its reliability and stability ensures that the alarm is sent to the security institution and users in a timely manner.
Hub 2 can be simultaneously connected to three Internet service providers: via Ethernet cable and 2G cellular networks. Automatic switching between channels takes place within seconds.
Automated security
Hub 2 makes it possible to create 32 scenarios and minimize the impact of the human factor on security. The hub can engage or disengage a system or group on programming. Immediately activate a smoke machine if someone enters the building. Shut off the power in the building and turn on emergency lights in case of fire. Or turn off the water in case of flooding. Check lights, electric locks, shutters, and garage doors for on/off by pressing a button or when it detects an alarm.
Resistant to sabotage attempts
Whatever happens to Hub 2, the security institution and users will be informed. No one can disconnect the hub unnoticed, even when the system is disarmed. If an intruder attempts to disassemble the device, it will immediately trigger the tamper. The Ajax Cloud server can send notifications about loss of connection to the hub within 60 seconds due to frequent polling. Even if the building runs out of power, the hub will protect the system for up to 16 hours thanks to the included backup battery (Up to 16 hours of battery life from the Li-ion 2 A⋅h battery for Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller when the Ethernet connection is turned off.)
