The Ezviz HGD2 photocells are a fundamental accessory in automation systems for sliding gates of the HG2 series. Their task is simple but crucial: to monitor the passage area and stop or manage the gate's movement when an obstacle is detected. This helps prevent accidents, impacts, crushing, and damage to people, vehicles, or objects, significantly improving the system's reliability, especially in domestic contexts with children, animals, or frequent traffic.

Infrared TX/RX system: fast and reliable detection

The kit consists of a transmitter (TX) and a receiver (RX) that create an invisible infrared beam. When someone or something crosses the beam, the system signals the obstacle to the automation control unit. The operating distance reaches up to 10 meters, making them suitable for standard entrances and residential openings, but also for many applications in condominium or light commercial settings.

2-wire installation and clean contacts: simple integration

The HGD2 photocells require a 2-wire connection and operate at 12 V DC, with a total consumption of 0.8 W (TX+RX). The clean contact outputs (both NC normally closed and NO normally open) facilitate integration with the automation, allowing the choice of the most suitable connection logic for the control panel or system configuration.

Durable for outdoor use: IP55 and wide temperature range
