Comelit expansion module for Vedo and VedoEasy control panels: more zones and more commands for your system
The Comelit VEDO8I8OA is the ideal solution when a Vedo or VedoEasy control panel requires greater management capacity: more contacts to read (sensors, doors, windows, technical zones) and more outputs to activate signals or automations (sirens, indicators, external relays, auxiliary commands via open collector).
Thanks to the RS485 bus connection, the expansion integrates into the system in an orderly manner, reducing complex wiring and maintaining a modular and scalable structure.
Flexible inputs: NC/NO and balancing for maximum security
The 8 inputs are freely configurable to adapt to different types of sensors and protection levels. The possibility to use single/double/triple balancing and double zone/double mode increases the reliability of detection and improves the control panel's ability to distinguish states and tampering on the line.
8 open collector outputs: load management and programmable functions
The 8 open collector outputs (100 mA max) offer great versatility to drive external devices (through appropriate interfacing when necessary). The outputs can be set as monostable or bistable, allowing you to configure pulses, timed activations, or stable commands based on the system's logic.
Protected installation: flame-retardant enclosure and tamper
The module is housed in a flame-retardant plastic enclosure (white RAL9003) and integrates anti-opening and anti-tear tamper, useful for increasing the physical security of the installation. The tampers can be excluded if required by the project or mounting position. Additionally, it can be installed inside dedicated enclosures (BOXSTANDARD, BOXPLASTIC, BOXMETAL, BOXFLUSH), facilitating the standardization of the panel and the cleanliness of the wiring.
EN50131 Grade 2 compliance: reliability for professional systems
The EN50131 Grade 2 certification makes the VEDO8I8OA suitable for residential and commercial intrusion systems where a higher level of security and reliability than the basic standard is required, in line with the indicated regulations.
