Dossena Residual current Relay for modern systems

The DER4B/2D is ideal for installations where continuous or mixed leakage currents converge, such as elevators, photovoltaic systems, electric vehicles, and industrial equipment, where conventional A-type relays are not sufficient. Separate TB toroid technology and customizable calibration make protection precise, flexible, and user friendly.

Easy installation and configuration

The device mounts on DIN rail (3 modules) and requires auxiliary power supply of 48/400V AC/DC. TB toroid wiring should be via twisted and shielded cable with <0.5 resistance. LCD display facilitates programming and visual diagnostics. Test, calibration, reset, and automatic reset can be controlled directly from the panel.

Safety and regulatory compliance

The DER4B meets the IEC 60947-2:2019 standard, ensuring maximum reliability. The device is equipped with a coil and transducer self-test function, signaling any anomalies. The components meet protection requirements (IP40 panel, IP20 terminals), V0 insulation, CATIII overvoltage category and pollution degree 2.

Typical Applications

Suitable for differential protection in tertiary/industrial environments where complex electronic devices generating contaminated currents are present (UPS, solar inverters, traction, medical). Ideal for ensuring business continuity and safety, even in advanced domestic networks.
