Griffon Sealant in crystal clear version is the perfect solution for those looking for a professional 2-in-1 product: structural adhesive and high elastic sealant. Based on SMP technology, it provides excellent hold without shrinkage and an impeccable aesthetic result thanks to its transparent color, ideal for visible bonding or delicate surfaces.
High strength and fast application
With a high initial setting and a curing speed of 2.5 mm every 24 hours, this product ensures strong and durable bonding even under difficult conditions. The 30-45 minute skin time allows for adjustments during application, while its final strength is achieved in about 4 hours. Perfect for quick but precise work.
Use on multiple surfaces and materials
Due to its pasty formulation, the sealant is suitable for bonding materials such as wood, plaster, stone, concrete, metal, rigid foam, polystyrene, gypsum board and many plastics (excluding PE, PP, PTFE). It is Ideal for professional interior and exterior work: mounting skirting boards, window sills, insulation boards, decorations, and also for applications in the auto body industry. It works perfectly even on slightly damp surfaces, without the need for primer.
Ease of use and yield
Usable with a cartridge gun, the adhesive should be applied in strips or dots, depending on the type of work and the surface. On average, a 300 g cartridge can cover 8-15 linear meters, depending on the nozzle and application method. To seal, simply smooth the joint with a trowel or wet finger within 10 minutes.
