Ferroli Bluehelix Alpha 24C Condensation Boiler
The Ferroli Bluehelix Alpha 24C condensing boiler (14 l/min at ∆t 25°C) is a high-efficiency solution for heating and instant domestic hot water production. Designed in accordance with ErP directives, it offers energy class A for both heating and domestic hot water, ensuring minimum consumption and reduced pollutant emissions (Class 6 EN 15502-1).
Thanks to its Multi Combustion Control (MC2) technology, it can run on natural gas, LPG and propane air without the need for a conversion kit. In addition, it is compatible with solar thermal systems and can also be installed outdoors in a partially protected location down to -5°C (down to -15°C with optional antifreeze kit).

Top Efficiency Even on Old Installations (Replacements)
The heat exchanger of the BLUEHELIX ALPHA thermal unit in comparison with the more classic and popular steel exchanger. This geometry allows the exchanger to operate at almost maximum design efficiency even in conditions of partial clogging, while with the same amount of deposits and sediment (e.g., due to installation on old systems) the exchanger in Fig. B tends to clog much faster in the part in contact with the flame due to the reduced area of fluid passage, where a real barrier of deposits* is formed that hinders heat exchange and reduces efficiency below nominal values.

The design of BLUEHELIX ALPHA was carried out in such a way as to maximize its functional advantages and robust construction, as well as its ease of maintenance. All major components inside are easily accessible, minimizing the time required for routine maintenance.

Bluehelix Alpha Boiler Control
The BLUEHELIX ALPHA control unit consists of a user-friendly interface with backlit display. Using the buttons, you can easily adjust the heating flow temperature, domestic hot water setpoint, turn on/off the generator or activate the comfort function, while monitoring the boiler status. The control panel is complemented by a traditional pressure gauge that can check the system pressure at any time.

Sun Easy function
BLUEHELIX ALPHA is designed to be easily incorporated into systems made with the latest technology. The SUN EASY system, uses electronics that simplify the combination with solar panels with both natural and forced circulation. By means of a sensor placed on the sanitary circuit, it continuously monitors the temperature of the water preheated by the solar panels, foreseeing the ignition of the burner only in the event that the latter falls below the level necessary to ensure optimal comfort for the user.
Stop and Go function
With the use of mixing sanitary faucets short or very short deliveries for quick rinses result in the start of the boiler ignition procedure, which usually ends immediately. The continuation of these "false starts" can, in the long run, compromise the average life of the product. For this reason, BLUEHELIX ALPHA provides a parameter in the electronics by means of which it is possible to delay the ignition of the burner (Stop and Go) by activating it only against real domestic hot water withdrawals.
Sanitary Eco-Comfort Function.
In ECO operation, domestic hot water production takes place according to traditional standards, allowing energy savings during periods of non-use. In COMFORT operation, thanks to the special heat exchanger temperature maintenance system, domestic hot water delivery becomes even faster and more comfortable. Efficiency and load profiles according to the ErP directive are top of the class: mod. 24 C / A - XL.
