Lovato circuit breaker P1 MD 1000V DC: protection for direct current systems

The circuit breaker Lovato P1 MD 4P 25A 1000V DC curve B is designed for protection against overloads and short circuits in direct current systems, such as photovoltaic installations, storage systems, and industrial DC applications.

Thanks to the nominal operating voltage up to 1000 VDC, it ensures high safety standards in high-voltage direct current installations. Compliance with IEC/EN/BS standards ensures reliability and build quality.

Curve B: fast and selective intervention

The intervention curve B allows for a fast magnetic response, ideal for circuits with predominantly resistive loads or low inrush currents. It is particularly suitable for photovoltaic string protection lines or DC distribution circuits.

With a short-circuit capacity of 5 kA (IEC), the device offers effective protection in systems with adequate protection coordination.

Electrical and mechanical performance

It can be used in environments with temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +70 °C, with relative humidity up to 95% and a maximum altitude of 2000 m.

Installation and wiring

The device can be installed on a 35 mm DIN rail in a vertical position. The terminals accept conductors from 1 to 35 mm² (IEC) with a tightening torque between 1.8 and 2 Nm.

The front protection degree IP20 makes it suitable for installation in protected electrical panels.
