The thermostatic valve control device is a proportional temperature regulator, consisting of a bellows containing a specific thermostatic liquid. As the temperature increases, the liquid increases in volume and causes the bellows to expand. As the temperature decreases, the reverse process occurs: the bellows contracts due to the thrust of the counter spring. The axial movements of the sensing element are transmitted to the valve actuator via the connecting plate, thus regulating the flow of fluid in the heating body.
Simple and versatile installation
The square design of the lockshield makes it ideal for installations in tight spaces. It is compatible with copper, plastic and multilayer piping. The rubber seal coupling system eliminates the need for sealant tapes, simplifying the installation process. The sensing element of thermostatic controls should not be installed in alcoves, boxes, behind curtains, or in direct exposure to sunlight, which would distort its readings.
Sturdy and safe construction
Lasta control is made of stainless steel, with a double EPDM O-ring seal. In this way the upper part of the screw, can be replaced even when the system is running. The plug is shaped to optimize the fluid-dynamic characteristics of the valve during the progressive opening or closing action in thermostatic operation. The wide passage between seat and plug causes reduced pressure drop in manual operation. With a chrome-plated brass body and a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar, the lockshield is designed to withstand the harshest conditions, ensuring optimum performance in all situations.
