4Net 4N-MC1TX1SFP media converter: copper and fibre in a single solution
The 4Net 4N-MC1TX1SFP media converter is designed to ensure effective integration between Ethernet networks on copper cable and fibre optic infrastructures. It is the ideal solution for extending the LAN network over long distances, maintaining high performance and signal stability.
Thanks to the combination of a 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 port and a 1000 Mbps SFP port, it allows direct connection between switches, routers or PCs and fibre optic backbones.

Supports UTP Cat. 5, 5e, 6 or higher LAN cables and SFP modules with LC connector, operating at wavelengths 850 nm, 1310 nm and 1550 nm.
The maximum achievable distance is: 550 metres with multimode fibre (MM), 20 km with single-mode fibre (SM).
High performance and efficient management
The converter dynamically adapts the speed of the RJ45 port (10/100/1000 Mbps), while the SFP port operates at 1000 Mbps, ensuring continuity and reliability in data transmission.
With optimised bandwidth and store-and-forward operating mode, it ensures stable transmissions even in corporate environments with heavy traffic. The energy consumption is less than 3W, with DC 5V – 2A power supply, making it efficient and suitable for continuous installations.
Compact design and environmental reliability
The small dimensions (94 × 71 × 26 mm) allow installation even in limited spaces, such as rack cabinets or compact technical stations.
It operates in a temperature range from 0°C to +50°C and with operating humidity 10%–90% non-condensing, ensuring long-term reliability.
