RG26H1M16 cable reliability, safety and high performance

RG26H1M16 single-core cable is designed for medium-voltage electrical power transmission up to 30 kV, in applications where high thermal and mechanical performance are required. With G26-grade HEPR rubber insulation and LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheathing, the product provides enhanced heat resistance, good laying flexibility, and a high level of fire safety.

HEPR G26 insulation: maximum thermal and mechanical resistance

The technical heart of the cable is its lead-free HEPR G26 rubber insulation, which complies with HD 620 DIH 2. This material allows a continuous operating temperature of up to 105°C, exceeding the limits of traditional PVC or XLPE cables. In the event of overload, use at current increments of up to 10% more is possible, maintaining system reliability even under critical conditions.

Robust and high-performance technical structure

The cable is equipped with a rigid, compact, class 2 red copper conductor with an extruded, cold-peelable semiconductor layer, which ensures perfect homogeneity of the electric field. The shielding system with copper wires and counterspiral tape provides effective electromagnetic protection. The outer sheath made of LS0H thermoplastic material M16 quality, red in color, ensures low smoke emission and halogen-free, ideal for installations in enclosed environments, with the presence of sensitive or highly crowded equipment.

Wide versatility of laying and use

RG26H1M16 cable is suitable for energy transport between transformer substations and large utilities, but is also widely used in industrial plants, civil buildings, infrastructure and fire-hazardous environments. It is suitable for installation in air, pipe, duct and even underground, in accordance with CEI 11-17 art. 4.3.11. Additional protection is recommended in case of UV exposure.

Optimized electrical and thermal performance

The rated voltage of 18/30 kV and maximum operating voltage of 36 kV make the cable suitable for industrial or infrastructure-type MV installations. Operating temperatures range from -15°C to +105°C, peaking at 300°C in short circuit, while the minimum bending radius is 14 times the cable diameter of 25.4 mm. The maximum tensile stress is 60 N/mm².
