Overview:

On heating or air conditioning systems, it is advisable to install a filling unit, i.e., a device capable of automatically filling the system to the set pressure. The use of the unit is also useful to compensate for pressure drops due to the expulsion of air from the circuit through the vent valves.


 

The main functions of the component are as follows:

  • Set the pressure according to your plant requirements
  • Stop filling when the set pressure is reached
  • When filling is complete, even with a decrease in pressure in the aqueduct, no flow reversal should occur.


     

Opening/closing knob:

  • Screwing the knob on closes the water inlet to the circuit while unscrewing it opens the water inlet to the circuit. Once the system has been filled, it is possible to exclude the water supply from the heating circuit by closing the stopcock. This makes it possible to prevent that in the event of a rupture in any part of the circuit, water will continue to flow. In the event of a drop in operating pressure, re-open the open/close knob and the system will be automatically restored to the originally set calibration pressure.
