Abb Minimum Voltage Coil for S200 Series 230V AC 1 Module A428401

ABB A428401 8012542840114

Abb minimum voltage coil, with the following characteristics:

  • Rated operating voltage 230 Vac
  • Power loss: 3.7 watts
  • Frequency: 50/60 Hz
  • Suitable for: S200 - SN201 - F200 - DS201 - DS202C - DS200
  • Suitable for product class: MCB miniature circuit breakers
  • Residual current devices RCD Residual current circuit breakers with overload protection RCBo

The residual current circuit breaker has the function of protecting consumers in the event of a drop in voltage between 70% and 35% of its rated value, or to realize the emergency stop function through the appropriate button in positive safety (release of the circuit breaker in the event of a power failure or opening of a normally closed contact placed in series with the minimum voltage coil).

The minimum voltage coils protect the consumers in the event of a power failure or lowering of the voltage between 70% and 35% of its rated value. After tripping, the coupled breaker can be reset when the voltage is higher than85% of its rated voltage.

The minimum voltage coil can be controlled by an emergency pushbutton to de-energize the system in complete safety. It is mounted on the left side of the S800 circuit breaker.

Auxiliary contacts are secondary switching devices that work in conjunction with primary switching equipment such as circuit breakers, relays, and contactors. These contacts are physically connected to the main switching mechanism and are activated simultaneously.

What are they used for? Auxiliary contacts are used for various functions, e.g., self-hold, consent/block, signaling, interlocking.

This type of coil enables a positively safe emergency circuit by opening the circuit in the event of a power failure, either by pressure on a button or damage to the emergency circuit. This system combines the safety of the minimum-voltage coil with the continuity of service of the current-throwing coil (in the event of voltage dips or interruptions, when power is restored, the NO contacts return to close without the need for operator intervention).

Itcan be used with SN201 series switches via the SN201-IH interface module.
