This product switches simultaneously with the contacts of the S 800 and has:
- an auxiliary contact in AUX exchange (1NO + 1NC) that signals both the open/closed status and the trip of the circuit breaker due to overcurrent.
- an ALT changeover signalling contact (1NO + 1NC) that signals only the overcurrent trip.
Auxiliary contacts are secondary switching devices that operate in conjunction with primary switching equipment such as circuit breakers, relays, and contactors. These contacts are physically connected to the main switching mechanism and are activated simultaneously.
What are they used for? Auxiliary contacts are used for various functions, e.g. self-holding, consent/block, signaling, interlocking.
