The CPU 1214C SIMATIC S7-1200 is a high-performance compact control unit, ideal for medium-sized automation applications in industrial, building automation, and plant engineering fields. Equipped with 14 digital inputs, 10 digital outputs at 24V, and 2 analog inputs 0–10V, it offers high flexibility thanks to the modularity and scalability of the Siemens S7-1200 system.
PROFINET communication and advanced features
With the integrated Ethernet PROFINET IO-Controller and IO-Device interface, the CPU supports up to 16 IO devices, open communication (TCP/IP, UDP, ISO-on-TCP), and features an integrated Web Server for remote monitoring and diagnostics.
It also supports high-speed counters up to 100 kHz, PWM outputs, PID control, and digital alarm management. The presence of the hardware clock with a 480-hour buffer makes it suitable for timed processes or logging.
Expandable memory and advanced diagnostics
The CPU includes 100 kB of working memory and 75 kB for application data, expandable via SIMATIC Memory Card up to 2 GB. It is equipped with a diagnostic buffer, trace functions, and full support for programming with TIA Portal in KOP, FUP, and SCL languages.

Built for harsh environments, it operates in a temperature range from –20°C to +60°C, with resistance to shocks, vibrations, and industrial EMC conditions. It holds major international certifications (CE, UL, cULus, RCM, FM, Marine Approval) and is classified as IP20 according to EN 60529.
