Adhesive for rigid PVC, suitable for bonding fittings and pipes under pressure up to 16 bar. It makes a weld of the bonded joint. The bondings made possess the same chemical resistance and mechanical properties as rigid PVC. Its controlled viscosity allows easy application without dripping.
Method of use:
- Cut the end of the pipe at a right angle, bevel the edges, and remove burrs. Mark the insertion depth on the pipe then, clean and degrease the pipe and fitting with blotting paper impregnated with PVC cleaner
- Mix the glue and apply it with the brush evenly and in an axial direction on both surfaces to be joined; apply less glue on the sleeve and more on the pipe
- Join the pieces within 4 minutes (at +23°C) without turning or edging and fix for a few seconds; immediately after fixing remove excess glue
- Wait at least 5 minutes before further processing the piece. For pressure testing, wait a minimum of 24 hours
