The disconnectorotherwise called voltage isolatorThe disconnector, also called voltage switch, has the same features of a switch, but on a larger scale: it is, in fact, responsible for closing the flow of energy to the power plants. This serves mainly to ensure the safety of the plant and primarily of the people who work inside since one of its peculiarities is to separate the flow of energy from the working environment. Another peculiarity of this instrument is the ability to detect defects in the electrical flow and isolate them. When the defect is corrected, the disconnector will ensure that the current flows normally again.

It isdesigned for the disconnection of power lines according to CEI EN 60947-3, allowing the maintenance of devices connected downstream in safety, and for the control under load, also has control lever leadable in both positions.
