Giacomini perimeter strip essential for any radiant system
K369A perimeter strip is designed to ensure proper expansion of the screed in underfloor heating or cooling systems. Made of closed-cell polyethylene foam, it has a fully adhesive side that facilitates its application along the walls, preventing displacement during the screed casting phase.
Quick and safe installation
Installation is quick and easy: simply apply the adhesive strip along all perimeter walls and around vertical elements such as columns or pipes. Once the flooring is completed, the excess part of the band can be easily cut off, leaving the subfloor free to expand safely.
Ideal for thermal and acoustic insulation
In addition to allowing the screed to expand, the band helps reduce the transmission of footfall noise through a 25 dB sound reduction. This also makes it an ideal solution in living contexts where acoustic comfort is an added value.
