How to make a folder on a copper air conditioning pipe using a collar tool:
- Cut the pipe. The cut must be perfect and at 90°, so we recommend using a professional cutting tool
- Deburr the pipe, to avoid rifling the folder
- Place the tube in the vise, allowing the tube to protrude a few millimeters
- Rotate the folder lever until the clutch clicks
- Turn the folder lever counterclockwise and release the flanged tube from the vise
