IP-Router Abb Type IPR/S 3.1.1, connects the KNX bus with the IP network. The device uses the KNXnet/IP protocol of the KNX association (Routing and Tunnelling). Can be used as a coupler of a line or area using a LAN for the rapid exchange of telegrams between the lines, or areas. The device enables you to program the devices in the KNX via the LAN using the ETS software. For this purpose, and any other connections to the KNX bus that they were necessary, 5 Tunneling Server are available on the device. The IP address can be set in fixed mode or can be assigned by a DHCP server. The device requires it external 12..30 V c.c or PoE. The communication standard defined by REFERENCE (Multicast) can be wanting to disabled. In this case, up to 10 IPR/S 3.1.1 can communicate with each other using communication to unicast.
