The ABB OT63G2-3BS is a three-pole switch-disconnector designed to ensure clear and safe disconnection in low voltage electrical panels. It is the ideal choice when it is necessary to isolate a three-phase circuit for maintenance, machine interventions, or securing a line. Belonging to the OT Plus series, it combines robustness and ease of installation, with an immediate front control and a construction designed for professional panel building.
The IP20 front protection helps reduce the risk of accidental contact during operations in the panel, while the knob operation makes opening/closing quick and intuitive.
DIN or base mounting: flexibility for panel building
This model supports base or DIN rail mounting, facilitating both new installations and retrofits. The integrated screw terminals ensure stable clamping and reliable connection over time, reducing the risk of loosening due to vibrations and thermal cycles. The knob handle is lockable, a fundamental feature for lockout/tagout procedures and to prevent unintentional reactivations during ongoing work.
Note: for door control or external operation needs, external handle and shaft are available as accessories but not included.

The OT63G2-3BS is suitable for various main circuit wiring configurations, useful when working on panels with different cable sections:

The recommended stripping length is 1316 mm and the tightening is done with a torque of 2 N·m (Pozidriv 2), for a neat and repeatable installation.
Electrical performance: Ui 800 V and high short-circuit withstand
With Ith/Ithe 63 A, Ui 800 V, and Uimp 8 kV, the disconnector is suitable for LV panels with good insulation margins. The conditional short-circuit current Inc 50 kA (with fuse 80 A, 690 V) makes it suitable even where the fault prospect is high. In AC-23A category, it handles 63 A at 415 V and 32 A at 690 V, with operating power up to 30 kW at 415/690 V, covering many load switching applications in the industrial field.
