The ABB OT40G1-3BS disconnector from the OT Plus series is designed to ensure a clear and safe disconnection up to 40 A in professional electrical panels. The three-pole version (3P) is ideal for three-phase systems without neutral, to disconnect dedicated lines, technical utilities, ventilation, pumps, department panels, or sub-distributions. The compact format and front control allow for easy management even in high-density panels.

The installation is versatile: it can be mounted on a base or on a DIN rail, making it suitable for both new panels and expansion and revamping interventions.

Electrical performance: suitable for load switching (AC-23A)

Unlike solutions designed only for isolation, the OT40G1-3BS is suitable for use categories that also cover load switching:

  • AC-21A: 40 A @ 415/690 V (predominantly resistive loads)

  • AC-22A: 40 A @ 415/690 V (mixed loads)

  • AC-23A: 40 A @ 415 V and 25 A @ 690 V (loads with high inductance, e.g., motors)
