The Jeweller Ajax EN54 I/O Module is designed to integrate and control third-party wired devices within an EN54-certified security system, offering flexibility and advanced automation. With two inputs and two outputs, the module can handle both incoming signals from wired sensors and activate external devices such as locks, gates, emergency lighting or alarm systems.
The two inputs support NO, NC, EOL, 2EOL and 3EOL connections, ensuring compatibility with linear detectors, elevator control panels, HVAC systems and other third-party wired devices. Included EOL resistors simplify installation and configuration, enabling compliance with regulations and ensuring maximum system reliability.
Relay outputs allow control of both AC (10-250 V~, up to 10 A) and DC (10-30 V⎓, up to 5 A) resistive loads, making the module versatile for various automation and security applications. The supported cable cross-section ranges between 0.4 and 2.5 mm², allowing the use of standard cables in wired connections.

Integration of safety devices that improve emergency response and evacuation from the first moments of the fire alarm. EN54 I/O Module (2X2) Jeweller has two galvanically isolated outputs that support both AC and DC current, with a resistive load capacity of up to 10 A. This allows installers to connect a wide range of electrical devices, from electric locks and emergency lights to elevator control and voice alarm systems. The Ajax ecosystem uses automation scenarios to activate connected devices the moment an alarm is triggered, saving valuable seconds for safe evacuation.
Smart integration of third-party devices
Make any existing fire protection device part of the Ajax configuration or supplement the system with devices not included in the Ajax portfolio. Two inputs enable the EN54 I/O Module (2X2) Jeweller to receive signals from third-party detectors, door controllers, elevator control panels, and other wired devices. The module supports most common connection types, including 3EOL, which allows up to three separate signals to be received from a single connected device. Once integrated, third-party devices become an integral part of the Ajax ecosystem. You can configure device parameters and define their location so that you receive detailed notifications when they are triggered. Each input can be configured with specific event types-such as fire alarm, gas leak, malfunction, evacuation, emergency aid, or custom alarm-for clarity in emergency situations. All configuration is done in a few steps via Ajax app.
Efficient autonomy for years to come
Preinstalled batteries provide up to 5 years of autonomous operation. Battery status is always visible in real time in Ajax apps, avoiding unnecessary maintenance work. Maintenance companies also receive low battery notifications for timely replacements. Replacing batteries is a quick and easy process: the installer simply removes the front cover of the module.
