Zyxel WRE2206 Wireless N300 Range Extender is for extending your home wireless network (Wi-Fi) to those areas with unreliable signal.
The WRE2206 is optimized for the best Wi-Fi experience and offers up to 30 percent better coverage than regular Wi-Fi extenders with its amplified antennas. The one-touch WPS button makes it easy to extend your existing Wi-Fi network, while the LED indicator helps you find the best location for the extender.
Zyxel WRE2206 uses additional power to boost its wireless signals by providing better wireless coverage. Zyxel's WRE2206 range extender makes it easy to improve your Wi-Fi network. Just plug in the range extender and press its WPS button, then press the WPS button on your router or access point and, just like that, you have successfully extended your Wi-Fi network.
Where you install the extender really makes a difference. We created an LED indicator to help you find the best place to install the extender and optimize its performance. Also, with the same LEDs, Zyxel WRE2206 shows you how many devices are connected to the extender and gives you an indication of how this will affect performance.
Easily connect the wireless extender without messy wiring like typical access points. Keep your home clean with its unobtrusive design. The theoretical maximum channel data rate comes from HomePlug AV2 specifications. Actual data rates will vary depending on the network environment, including: distance, network traffic, noise on power cables, quality of electrical installation, and other adverse conditions.
