From the research Fanton, was born the new line Country, electrical equipment ceramic, dedicated to civil engineering systems. Products Country enhance the wise use of ceramics in a modern key, a successful combination between past and present, between aesthetics and the needs of the current living daily. The innovation of the technological content takes the form of a global project and quality to meet new standards of safety, speed of installation, flexibility and convenience. Country, products strongly rooted in the tradition, from the aspect of friendly, a celebration of Italian style that have always distinguished the products Fanton. A range of original products and exclusive designer one-to-one, to seal an important choice and original.
The hidden qualities of products, Country - Not all the quality of the products of the Country are visible, such as the type of ceramic used. All our products are manufactured using a special type of ceramic that, thanks to the presence of Alumina makes it greatly superior to other ceramics and porcelain; for this is defined as “technical ceramics”. The Alumina provides the ceramic with a combination of mechanical and electrical properties only: • Good thermal stability. • It does not oxidize. • Excellent hardness - material next to diamond. • High resistance to wear and tear - the durability of a ceramic component in applications in terms of wear and tear is higher than that of the same steel component of 10-14 times. • Corrosion resistance in acidic environments, or alkaline. • Good electrical insulation - dielectric properties excellent by direct current. • Good thermal insulator.
Many ceramic products on the market are made with Porcelain, lower than the Ceramic Technique on a particular feature, the shock-resistance. • The specific weight of a product in China (comparable to the range Country) is about 2,33 Kg/dm3, against the Technical Ceramic with the Alumina that is of 3,55 Kg/dm3. • The tolerances are expressed on the drawings (+/-1%) are large and are therefore shared. • The hardness is evident in the test the products of Technical Ceramics and Porcelain. Trying to break them with a simple caliper, it should be noted that Technical Ceramics Alumina-breaks like glass and you have to act with great force, while the products of Porcelain break easily crumbling the product. The Technical Ceramic with the Alumina, on the breaking points, has an aspect of fine-grained, more compact, and therefore more durable, unlike the porous aspect of the Porcelain. • Another distinguishing factor is the purity of the Ceramic Technique that looks whitish and smooth due to the Alumina, instead of the Porcelain that has a gray color.
